Membership eligibility: Pi Lambda Theta is open to undergraduate, sixth year, Master's and Ph.D. students in education who have an overall GPA of 3.5. Undergraduate students must be in their
senior year. Eligible students will receive a letter of invitation if they are eligible to attend the initiation ceremony held in April of each year, but should contact the faculty advisors if they are interested in
applying. Chapter History: Pi Lambda Theta was founded in 1910 and is the oldest education honor society. The Beta Sigma chapter of Pi Lambda Theta became a chapter in 1972 and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary at UConn. |
