Mission: The Society of Omega Chi Epsilon promotes high scholarship, encourages original investigation in
chemical engineering and recognizes the valuable traits of character, integrity, and leadership. The Society serves
both undergraduate and graduate students within the Chemical Engineering Department. It encourages
meaningful student-faculttly dialogue within the department. |
Membership eligibility: Juniors must have a minimum GPA of 3.25 and seniors a minimum of 3.0. Students must have completed 70 credits, of which
at least 30 must have been taken at UConn and at least 3 must have been earned in Chemical Engineering.
Chapter History: The University of Connecticut enrolled as the Alpha Sigma chapter in 1983. |
