Chapter History: The National Society of Collegiate Scholars was first founded on April 30, 1994 at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The University of Connecticut chapter was founded in the spring of 2003. Today, the UCONN chapter has over 1300 current members. These members exemplify the pillars of the society – scholarship, leadership, and service. Membership eligibility: Any first or second year student with a minimum GPA of 3.4 with a rank in the top 20th percentile of his/her class through invitation only. |
