Mission: Alpha Zeta is an honorary, service-oriented fraternity.  Members are involved in activities and events that inform students and community members of programs and opportunities in agricultural, environmental, and nutritional sciences and related areas.  Alpha Zeta assists the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources with the annual CornucopiaFest and University Open House programs and members assist the Office of Academic Programs and Department offices in responding to inquiries about programs at UConn.

Membership eligibility: Male and female students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources or related fields will be invited by letter to apply if they are in the upper two-fifths of their class and have completed at least one year of academic work at the University. 

Chapter History: Alpha Zeta enjoys a long tradition at the University of Connecticut. Activities have included volunteer efforts in the community and involvement in events and programs for current and prospective students.
